Terms of payment
The full payment is made in advance when the rental contract is signed.
Accepted payment methods:
- CASH: in RON
- BANK TRANSFER: Only before the beginning of the rental period
- The full value of the rental is invoiced in RON at the BNR sale rate (on the day of invoicing)
All taxes are included.
The driver
The driver must posess a valid driving licence and an identity card/passport.
The minimum age of the driver is 21 years. The driver must posess a valid driving licence for at least 1 year.
Additional driver
There are no added taxes for an additional driver.
Even so, the name and details of the additional driver must be specified in the rental contract.
The additional driver has the same obligations as the main driver.
The company driver
Maximum schedule 8 hours/day: 20 EUR + 5 EUR/hour overtime
Overnight schedule: accomodation is offered.
Handover & Receipt
- During working hours
Handover/Receipt within the city limits will not be taxed
- Handover/Receipt during night time
10 Euros supplimentary for handover/receipt within the 22:00 to 7:00 interval
- in case of vehicle return prior to deadline a precontract will be signed for the remainig value
Fuel tax
All vehicles are handed over with a full fuel tank and must be returned with a full fuel tank, otherwise a fuel tax will be applied.
Fuel tax: 1.5 EUR/litre
Accessory taxes (as available)
Baby seat - 1.5EUR/day
GPS navigation system - 5EUR/day
Radar detector - 2EUR/day
Snow chains - 1.5EUR/day
General insurance terms
Third party insurance – all taxes include the third party’s insurance
The transportation of hazardous materials is not included in the insurance. This insurance becomes invalid,in case of the vehicle being driven by an unauthorized driver or if the vehicle driver does not have a driver licence. In this case the security deposit will be charged.
Security deposit
This security deposit reduces the driver’s responsibility to only a part of the vehicle in case of damage.
Protection in case of theft
This insurance reduces the driver’s responsibility to only a part of the vehicle in case of theft.
Franchises for security deposits and theft tax
A security deposit must be made for the entire rental period, in order to guarantee the above mentioned franchises.
The security deposit value is equal to that of the franchise.
The security deposit can be made in cash or it can be frozen on a credit card.
Zero responsibility insurance
A daily insurance can be taxed for zero responsibility in case of damage or theft.
In this case there is no further need for a security deposit.
The zero responsibility insurances are as following:
3EUR/day – Class A (MDMR)
4EUR/day – Class B and C (EDMR), Class B+ (CVMR)
6EUR/day – Class C+ (CDMR), Class D (IDMR, IAMR)
10EUR/day – Class L (SVMR, SKMR), Class G (SFMR)
For drivers under 25 years of age these taxes are doubled.
Rentals for border crossing
Rental for border crossing is not yet permitted.
